Find An Internship

The Roanoke Region has thousands of employers and is one of the most diverse economies in Virginia. We are surrounded by 25 colleges and universities, and a great location to start building that resume. The Get2KnowNoke jobs board allows you to search for internships and entry-level positions based on your skills or industry of interest. It is now required to pay interns in Virginia unless you are seeking college credit – another great reason to stay in Virginia for your education and early career. Need help finding an internship?

The Get2KnowNoke Talent Network isn’t just a place to search for job and internship opportunities—it’s a region-wide LinkedIn that allows employers to search for you by skills, experience, industry, and more. You can reach out to top employers and vice versa. Opt-in for email notifications when relevant local jobs are posted. We also share exclusive hiring and networking events with folks in the network. 2024 Graduating Onboard|ROA Cohort

Onboard|ROA has allowed me to meet other amazing young professionals and soon-to-be college graduates while doing new and fun things around the area that I can take my family to when they come to town! Also, in just the few sessions we’ve had so far, I feel my professional skills have already improved in terms of networking with new people and communicating more effectively with my coworkers.
