    The Fralin Biomedical Research Institute at VTC is a cutting-edge biomedical research facility affiliated with Virginia Tech. It focuses on advancing human health through innovative research in neuroscience, cardiovascular science, cancer biology, and other critical areas of biomedical science.

  • Virginia Western Community College Access Program (Free Tuition)

    Virginia Western's Community College Access Program (CCAP) provides eligible high school graduates free tuition for up to two years, covering costs not met by financial aid to promote higher education and workforce development.

  • Virginia Talent + Opportunity Partnership (V-TOP)

    V-TOP connects students with businesses. This GO Virginia funded program was created to help employers develop work-based learning programs, incentivize internships, and help students become work-force ready upon graduation. They work with manufacturing and certificate level students, as well as 4-year higher education students, and post-graduate. Roanoke is located in Region 2.
