College Career Fair Calendar for Roanoke Region Employers

THE COMPLETE COLLEGE CAMPUS CALENDAR –

For Roanoke Region Employers to Maximize Engagement and Recruitment

If you showed a list of ALL THE EMPLOYERS in the Roanoke Region of Virginia to students at Virginia Tech, Liberty, or James Madison University – how many companies would they recognize? The answer from most students is, unfortunately, none!

Or more likely two to three. It’s time we change that and give a region-wide effort to make sure that top talent graduating throughout the region recognizes our employer brands -AND- is aware of the breadth and depth of well-paid and exciting career opportunities throughout the region and across all industries.

Maximize your on-campus engagement, build brand awareness with students (Be patient! It takes time and repeated exposure.), and develop your pipeline with all of Virginia’s prestigious higher education institutions. You can just start with one or two targeted events a season and build from there. Over 80% of alumni from Virginia’s colleges say they are interested in working in Virginia. That’s a huge opportunity–let’s capitalize on that, together!

25 Regional Colleges & Universities

🤓 Fun Fact: Did you know that the Roanoke Region is an urban hub surrounded by 25 higher education institutions? From liberal arts to health sciences, engineering, biotech research, and machining our region has over 100,000 graduates annually. That’s a higher concentration of undergraduates per capita than Boston, San Francisco, the NC Research Triangle, and Austin.
