This College Campus Career Fair Calendar makes it easier to get your company in front of top talent across Virginia’s prestigious colleges and universities. This is your chance to build name recognition (be patient! It takes time and repeated exposure), connect with students early, and showcase career opportunities your organization offers right here in the Roanoke Region.

Start with one or two targeted events a season and build from there. Over 80% of alumni from Virginia’s colleges say they are interested in working in Virginia. That’s a huge opportunity–let’s capitalize on that, together!

Ferrum College is a private liberal arts college associated with the United Methodist Church in Franklin County, offering liberal arts and professional programs such as business, recreation leadership, musical theatre, agriculture, environmental science, teacher education, and criminal justice.

James Madison University College Campus

JMU-CISE Career and Internship Fair – September 9, 2025 (11:00 AM – 3:00 PM)

The College of Integrated Science and Engineering (CISE) Career & Internship Fair is open to the following majors/minors: Biotechnology, Computer Science, Engineering, Geographic Science, Intelligence Analysis, Information Technology (IT), and Integrated Science and Technology.

All registration fees include a table (8′ by 2′), event publicity, an electrical outlet, and two representatives. Each organization is limited to 1 table only.

Corporate/For-Profit Organizations: $700
Government Agencies & Non-Profit Organizations: $200 (This will be verified through the email address provided during registration.)
Charitable Non-Profit Organizations: $100 (To verify status, your tax ID will be needed as you provide your contact information.)
Complementary registration to CISE Industry Partners

JMU University Career Fair – September 16, 2025 (1:00 PM – 5:00 PM)

All registration fees include a table, event publicity, and lunch for two representatives. Each organization is limited to 1 table only and 4 representatives total (additional representatives beyond the included 2 require additional payment).

Corporate/For-Profit Organizations: $600
Government Agencies: $300 (This will be verified through the email address provided during registration.)
Non-Profit Organizations and 501(c)(3) Charitable Non-Profit Organizations: $200 (To verify status, your tax ID will be needed as you provide your contact information.)

LIBERTY UNIVERSITY CAREER FAIRS

Nursing & Healthcare Career Fair – September 9, 2025 (2:00-5:00 PM)

Designed to be inclusive of all healthcare professionals and industry opportunities, employers have the opportunity to engage students looking for a wide variety of opportunities within the healthcare industry.

In an effort to provide as much clarity for employers and our students, we have chosen to group employers into the following four categories: (1) Nursing, (2) Behavioral Sciences, (3) Health Sciences (including Allied Health), and (4) Healthcare Administration.

8′ Table with Electric. Lunch (2 Reps Included). – $350

Business, Engineering, & Technology Career Fair – September 23, 2025 (1:00-4:00 PM)

Whether you are looking to hire students from our School of Business or School of Engineering, or perhaps you have a unique role for your business that might attract students from other schools or majors, this is the fair for you! Career Services has reimagined its Career Fair model and messaging, as Career Fairs are being promoted as industry-based, not just school or major-specific. This new Career Fair will be held both Fall and Spring semesters to meet all your ongoing recruiting needs.

Due to the new industry-based Career Fair model, Liberty is inviting all students to attend the Fall 2025 Business & Engineering Career Fair! Under this new model, they encourage students to explore various job opportunities across multiple industries and participate in multiple Career Fairs each semester. Regardless of their major, they are invited to explore each of the industries represented at each Career Fair and research the employers and their available job opportunities. Because of this, we invite you to post all your available roles so students across multiple disciplines can engage with you.

The Camp Career Fair is one of our highest energy fairs year in and year out, with hundreds of students from a wide range of disciplines coming through the doors. This fair is for organizations looking to recruit students interested in working at camps.

General (Days 1 & 2) – *MUST ATTEND BOTH DAYS* Registration includes an 8′ Table with Electric, Lunch, and 2 Reps Included on both days: $250

MOUNTAIN GATEWAY COMMUNITY COLLEGE

Mountain Gateway Community College

Mountain Gateway Community College (MGCC) is a two-year public institution of higher education and one of 23 community colleges in Virginia. The Commonwealth of Virginia supports the college; the counties of Alleghany, Bath, Northern Botetourt, and Rockbridge; the cities of Buena Vista, Covington, and Lexington.
