Let’s go back to school! It might be a little different than you remember.
Understanding the future of K-12 education is important because soon, we will be working with, and for these young leaders. You’ll learn to navigate this path at Experience 2019.
Experience 2019 begins June 6 with a cocktail kickoff at Blue 5 and the full conference, The Future of Work, is June 7 at the Taubman Museum of Art in Roanoke.
Awareness of some of the education system’s trends will help better equip us to train and bring future leaders into our workspaces. Erin Lockett will focus on national and statewide movement toward better preparing students for college and career through innovation and more personalized learning.
Lockett is the Associate Policy Director of Innovation Policy at ExcelinEd in Washington D.C. Her work includes Innovation sessions and annual Pre-Summit workshops at the National Summit on Education Reform, convenings, thought leadership, and white papers on Course Access and Personalized Learning. She graduated from George Washington University’s Trachtenberg School for Public Policy and Public Administration with a Master’s in Public Administration, focusing on nonprofit management.
